Rhode Island Property Owners Can Lease Land for Solar

Rhode Island is definitely in the lead when it comes to progressive solar policy. In addition to the Renewable Energy Growth (REG) program, which is already in place, the state has upped the solar ante by introducing an additional 400 megawatt RFP (the solar RFP is due to be released in August 2018.

400 meagawatts is about 2,500 acres of solar panels, which is quite a bit of land.
