MSL Group is committed to adding more ways to deploy solar capacity as quickly as possible.  Clients now have the opportunity to place panels not just on a roof, but also in a field, over a patio, in a driveway, as a skylight, or over a walkway. We want to make solar panels commonplace.   We feel this can be done by making them more aesthetically pleasing with more uses and applications.

Solar Canopies = Environmental Sustainability

The key requirement fo rthe solar canopy market to expand is installed cost.  Our constructive view on solar is based on the improving cost curve of the underlying technology. Direct solar system costs have declined at ~15% CAGR over the past 9 years and we expect further cost reduction over the next 4-5 years as a solar module costs continue to decline, panel efficiencies gradually improve, balance of system costs decline due to scale and competition, financing costs decline due to development of new financing mechanisms and customer acquisition costs decline as a result of increasing customer awareness.
